Q: What are tuition and costs?
A: The price of tuition will vary by vocational training program. The prices
of the individual programs are listed in the “Program” section
of the website.
Q: How do I apply for admission?
A: The admissions process may either be conducted at the school or you
can simply click on the “Enroll Now” button located in the
upper right-hand corner of your computer screen. An enrollment form will
appear. Complete all of the available fields, review your finished form
for accuracy and then click “Submit”. A member of our admissions
department will contact you within a couple of days to discuss your application.

Q: Do you accept international students?
A: Yes, however each student’s previous educational training records
will be reviewed before an official admission decision can be made.
Q: Is your school accredited?
A: The MT Training Center is accredited by the Texas Workforce Commission,
Career Schools and Colleges division and is accredited through the Council
on Occupational Education. To see a complete listing of our accreditations,
click on the “Accreditation” button located on the home bar.
Q: Will you help me find employment after graduation?
A: Yes, job placement assistance is available to all graduates and non-graduate
completers. In fact, we take so much pride in our high placement rates
that we made it one of our credos:

That being said,
we cannot guarantee post-graduate employment
. The Texas Workforce Commission, Career Schools and Colleges division
does not permit our school or any other similarly accredited schools to
guarantee employment.
Q: What is the length of your training programs?
A: The length of each vocational training program varies by program.
Q: What are your hours of operation?
A: The MT Training Center offers business hours from 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
Q: Do you offer financial aid?
A: The MT Training Center has several funding options. Tuition assistance
is available for all non-federally approved programs (for those who qualify)
and financial aid is available for federally approved programs (for those
who qualify). Our school’s admission representative will be happy
to schedule an appointment with you to discuss individualized funding options.
Q: Do you accept previously incarcerated individuals for enrollment?
A: Yes, we do. In fact, we have educated and placed many previously incarcerated
persons. However; please keep in mind, when selecting your career path,
the type of felony for which you were convicted may limit your employment
opportunities in a particular field. We would be happy to make recommendations
to you based upon previous similar cases.
Q: Do I need a high school diploma or GED in order to enroll in a vocational
training program?
A: No, you do not need a high school diploma or GED in order to enroll.
However, an enrolling student must be able to pass an ability to benefit
(ATB) test in order to gain admission into the MT Training Center.
Q: Do I need to schedule a tour or can I just drop by?
A: You are more than welcome to drop in for a campus tour or you can also
click on the “Schedule a Tour” tab on our homepage to in order
to schedule a campus tour.
Q: When can I begin my training at the MT Training Center?
A: The MT Training Center offers open enrollment. You can begin school
the Monday after you have been officially admitted into the School.
Q: Do you offer tutoring services for students that struggle?
A: Yes, we offer all of our students additional tutoring when necessary.
Q: When I graduate from your CDL Training Program will I be forced to sign
a Post-Graduate Contract?
A: No. The MT Training Center does not require a Post-Graduate Contract
for any of our training programs. You are free to sign with the company

Q: What are your current program offerings?
A: MT Training Center currently offers the following programs: CNC Machinist,
Combination Welding, Truck Driving, Computerized Accounting, Medical Front
Office, Business Office Specialist, Medical Billing and Coding, Medical
Transcription, English as a Second Language, and GED classes.
Q: Are all of your programs eligible for Federal Student Aid?
A: No. Currently, the programs that are eligible for Fedaral Student Aid
would be: Computer Numerical Control Machinist, Combination Welding, Computerized
Accounting, and Advanced CDL. The 4-week CDL Program has financial assistance
available for those who qualify.
Q: How often do you start classes?
A: MT Training Center start classes on every first and third Monday of
each month.
Q: Where is the MT Training Center located?
A: MT Training Center is located at 1801 S. Great Southwest Parkway, Grand
Prairie, Texas 75051. MTTC is conveniently located in the heart of the
Dallas / Fort Worth area.
Q: Which counties do you serve?
A: The MT Training Center is eligible to serve all counties in Texas. Our
main areas include, but are not limited to: Dallas County, Tarrant County,
Wise County, Denton County, Collin County, Hunt County, Kaufman County,
Ellis County, Johnson County, Hood County, and Parker County.
