Financial Aid Philosophy: A successful financial aid package is a cooperative effort between the student and the institution that not only meets the student’s educational needs but also fosters an environment from which the student can effectively manage any debt that may be incurred during the course of their education.

A list of additional resources has been compiled to better assist the prospective student:

  • www.fafsa.ed.gov – Free Application for Federal Student Aid
  • www.studentloans.gov – Get more information about the Direct Loan Program and the application process, helpful publication and tools for managing your student loans. This site is your source for information regarding your student loans.
  • www.PIN.ed.gov – Your PIN can be used each year to electronically apply for federal student aid and to access your Federal Student Aid records online. If you receive a PIN, you agree not to share it with anyone. Your PIN serves as your electronic signature and provides access to your personal records, so you should never give your PIN to anyone, including commercial services that offer to help you complete your FAFSA. Be sure to keep your PIN in a safe place.
  • www.nslds.ed.gov – For information about all of your federal student loans and federal grants. NSLDS does not include information about any private loans you may have received.
